Import from Photoshop

Replia imports layers from Adobe® Photoshop® and exports Objective-C/Swift/Storyboard source code. This guide walks you through the connection between Photoshop and Replia.

Connect Replia to Photoshop and Import Document

You need to set up Photoshop and enable it to communicate with Replia. After that you can import data into Replia.

Note: Using Replia requires Adobe Photoshop CC 2014.2.2 Release or later.

Photoshop Connection Settings

  • Launch Adobe® Photoshop®.
  • Choose Preferences > Plug-Ins.
  • Check Enable Remote Connections.
  • In the Password field, enter a six-digit password and then click OK.
  • Restart Photoshop to apply the changes.

Import Document

  • Open your design document in Photoshop.
  • Launch Replia.
  • Select your Photoshop service in Replia. Enter your password, then click Connect. When the connection is established, a document information dialog box will be displayed.
  • Select the scale of layers from 100%, 50%, or 33.3%, and click OK.

When you click OK, data importing will start.

Tips: If there is no response for a while, click Photoshop window to make it active.

Tips: Before importing, adjust the structure of layers in Photoshop. Hidden layers are not imported, and layer structure is imported as view structure.
